The following regulations are imposed by the local government authorities:
Kuwait Import permits are subject to approval by PAAFR & are restricted as follows:
● 1 Importer may bring 2 cats (max),
or ● 1 Importer may bring 1 Dog (max),
or ● 1 Importer may bring 1 Cat, & 1 Dog (max).
Only 2 pets are allowed per person
If any company import the pet, there is no limit but the permit should be issued under registered company in Kuwait

- Arrival at Kuwait Airport with pets can be a lengthy process, regardless of method of travel (accompanied baggage or manifested cargo).

- There is no waiting period after the test. The import permit can be processed, and the pet can enter Kuwait once it receives a satisfactory result, and the permit is approved.

- Type F1 Bengal cats are not allowed to be imported into Kuwait as pets.
- A CITES certificate may be required for types F2 through F4. This certificate must be accompanied by the cat's pedigree or filial scale certificate.
- Only types of Savannah cats that do not require CITES certificates can be imported.

• Copies of International Health Certificate & any other relevant pet documentation available must be submitted before the pet flies out from the country of origin.
• All pets must travel with original documents. Failure to arrive into KWI without original documents will cause delays and problems at KWI Customs Clearance.
