Animals under 3 months old can only enter Cape Verde if they are born to a mother vaccinated against rabies (proof required).

  • Health Card with the respective vaccines (passport);

Note: If the conditions described above are not met, the animal is subjected to medical exams, and it may be returned to the country of origin or slaughtered by the competent authorities.

All animals must hold a certificate of sanitation and an International Certificate of Vaccination valid and issued by a veterinarian.
