A. Documents required for applying a transit license:

All documents must be submitted 14 days in advance, before departure of the shipment.

Please

reserve more days during the holiday season. The originals to be attached to the travel crate.

• Vaccination Book (the pages containing pet’s info e.g. name, breed, sex, birth date, vaccination record, etc.) – 3 copies certified by the owner
• Rabies Vaccination Certificate – 3 copies certified by the owner
• Photo of Pet
• Photo of Travel Crate
• Owner's Valid Passport – 3 copies certified by the owner
• Power of Attorney (form to be provided)
• Int’l Health Certificate (issued by Government’s vet.) – 3 copies certified by the owner
• Shipper’s Certification for Live Animal
• Airline’s Acceptance Checklist (issued by the airline at origin)
• Airway Bill with full info e.g. qty, gross wt, dim., type of pet (10 days before departure)
• A letter from the owner to Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (2 originals)
• A letter from the owner to Phnom Penh Int’l Customs & Excise Branch (2 originals)
• A letter of authorization from the owner (2 originals)

B. Customs, Permit & Quarantine

• Operating hours from 8:30-16:30 hours, Monday-Friday except public holidays
• Customs process takes approx. 3-4 hours
• 7 days for the permit approval, excluding Saturday, Sunday and public holidays
• The permit is valid for not more than 10 days
• No quarantine is required
• No import duty & tax in Cambodia

C. Pets Arriving as Excess Baggage

• Owner must carry the of ficial health certificate (original) on hand.
• As there is no AWB, we need the original document to clear the pet from the customs.
• Others to be required e.g. passport copy, air ticket copy, picture of the owner & the pet.
• Customs clearance is required as no import permit to be issued for the excess baggage.
• We will wait for the owner at the terminal to assist on the customs clearance.

D. Airlines:

• Booking is subject to availability of the aircraft if the crate’s height is more than 31 in ches (80 cm).
• If the flight is booked by the client/agent, please advise flight details so that we can check if the pet will require an overnight stay during the transit. Please note that DLD and Customs office hours are from 8.30 to 16.30 hours. Please do reserve the processing time approx. 4 hours within the mentioned office hours.

E. Consignment Instructions on AWB:

• Handling Information Column: "In Transit to Phnom Penh, Cambodia via Bangkok, Thailand". This is to avoid paying import duty & tax at the transit airport.
• Consignee Column:

Add your agents in formation here.

F. Prohibited Breeds:

• No prohibited breed as long as it is a pet.

Dogs must be vaccinated against other significant in fectious diseases i.e. Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus and Leptospirosis at least 21 days prior to the departure.

Cats shall be vaccinated against other significant in fectious

diseases i.e. Feline Panleukopenia at least 21 days prior to the departure.

Health certificate and permits

All pets should arrive within the validity of the health certificate issued by the Government veterinarian of the exporting country. If the validity is not mentioned on the of ficial health certificate, the of ficial veterinarian will consider it as 10 days validity. A Health certificate from a private veterinarian will not be accepted.

A health certificate in English, signed or further endorsed by a full-time authorized veterinary of ficial of the government of the exporting country.

Import permit is required before arrival.
